The Church is 70!

On October 5th, our Church has been open for 70 years and we have a special service planned at 10am on that day.

Some of our past priests and curates will be with us and we are honoured that our Lady Mayor and our local MP are joining us too.

It will be a sung Eucharist and obviously designed to celebrate the opening of our lovely building.

After the service we will be sharing a ploughman’s lunch in the Church Hall so please arrange your Sunday so that you can join us. This will begin at 12 noon.

There will be some soup to start, and the ploughman’s lunch will be a choice of ham, gala pie or cheese. More details later but if you would like to join us, we obviously need an idea of how many are coming. If you want to put your name down early, please text me on 07944474923 with your name(s) and your choice(s) for the lunch.

We are hoping to have a flower festival in the Church that weekend too. If you’d like to contribute towards that or arrange some flowers yourself, let me know.
